OSPREY SW215
Passive Reflex Subwoofer | 2 x 15″
The SW215 is the partnering subwoofer for the Osprey system, making use of two high power, high excursion 15” transducers. The SW215 is hard wearing and allows for a variety of system configurations, making it suitable for any application be it touring or installation, indoors or out.
Osprey array elements can be mounted directly on top of the SW215, using the Osprey HB1 rigging system, or flown separately in larger arrays. Stacks of SW215 can be locked together using the integrated rigging system, and an extra NL4 SpeakOn socket is provided on the front of the cabinet for cardioid setups.
An M20 pole mount is fitted to extend the SW215 compatibility to the rest of the Traction product range. Multiple M10 points are fitted to the top panel which enable the Osprey HB1 to straddle two adjacent SW215, further increasing setup options and flexibility. A wheel-board is available for the SW215 with integrated connecting points, making it suitable for transporting stacks of two SW215 on and off trucks and over rough ground.
The SW215 is constructed from combination of 18mm and 15mm Birch plywood, reducing total weight without sacrificing strength and rigidity. The cabinet has been designed and braced using FEM simulation to reduce energy loss, total weight and to increase durability. The cabinet is finished in a textured black PU coating whilst the stainless steel metalwork has a black powder coating.
