CX6-HD
Passive Coaxial 2-way | 6″ + 1″ CD
The Hawk CX6-HD is a compact and rugged loudspeaker featuring a coaxial driver arrangement. The LF section incorporates a weatherproofed paper cone with a thermoplastic surround, and a compression driver with a 1” voice coil and polymer diaphragm for smooth and natural high frequency response. A passive crossover means this loudspeaker can be operated on its own without needing to use DSP.
There are 4x M10 threads on the CX6-HD, providing flexible mounting and install options. On the back, there are two M6 threads for connecting to various off-the-shelf mounting solutions.
Two Neutrik NL4 SpeakOn connectors are provided on the rear with all pins linked, and input for the CX6-HD is taken from pins 1+/-.
The CX60-HD is finished in a black PU coating, which provides excellent resistance to scratches and knocks as well as water resistance. All screws, bolts and fittings have a weatherproof zinc coating, and the 2mm perforated steel grille has is fitted with a rain and UV resistant textile lining. The cabinet is constructed from sustainably sourced 12mm thick Birch plywood.
